SIGEP Asia showcases the entire artisanal gelato supply chain and represents the highest standards of excellence and professionalism in the art of pastry and baking.

 

The Chocolate section also brings together leading Italian and international chocolate producers, alongside companies specialising in production, machinery, equipment and accessories for the sector.

 

The exhibition covers the entire Coffee & Tea supply chain, from specialty coffee beans and tea leaves to roasters, grinders and barista equipment, showcasing a wide range of processing and tasting techniques.

The international trade show dedicated to the F&B and Ho.Re.Ca. Foodservice sectors.

The ASEAN market, one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-growing economic regions, with a population of around 620 million, is seeing growing demand for specialised companies offering high-quality products.

This trend reinforces the event’s boutique format, which sets it apart from mass-market events through a carefully selected audience, tailored B2B meetings and targeted activities designed to showcase the relevant supply chains.

 

2026 highlights


Gelato World Cup – Asia Selection

The event brought together eight teams from Singapore, Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Qatar. The top four ranked countries secured a place in the Gelato World Cup, taking place in Rimini in January 2028.

 

 

Bread in the City – Asia Selection

Organized in partnership with SBCTA (Singapore Bakery and Confectionery Trade Association), the competition brought together eight teams from Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and the Republic of Korea. The top two teams secured a place in the international final of Bread in the City, taking place at SIGEP World in Rimini in 2027.

 

 

Chocolate Pavilion

The Chocolate pavillon offered an immersive celebration of artisanal chocolate excellence, featuring renowned Brand Ambassador Janice Wong and her iconic Chocolate Wall installation. The pavilion brought together leading bean-to-bar companies, master chocolatiers, and artisanal producers from around the world, offering visitors a unique journey through creativity, flavor, and the art of chocolate making.

 

 

Singapore National Coffee Championships (SNCC)

Now in its third edition, the Singapore National Coffee Championships have established themselves as a key event celebrating excellence in the specialty coffee industry. The official competitions included the Barista, Brewers Cup, Latte Art, and Cup Tasters categories, bringing together some of the industry’s top talents. The winners of each discipline earned the opportunity to represent Singapore at the prestigious World Coffee Championships 2027.

 

 

Technology & Innovation Pavilion (TIP)

The area showcased some of the most advanced technological solutions for the Food & Hospitality industry, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Smart POS, Food Waste Management and next-generation technologies for professional kitchens. A dedicated hub for innovation, it provided an opportunity to explore the trends and solutions shaping the future of the industry.

 

 

ICE Pavilion

The area dedicated to the Italian Trade Agency hosted twelve Italian Food & Beverage companies, providing a strategic platform to strengthen and expand their presence in Asian markets. The pavilion offered a space dedicated to innovation, networking, and promoting the exellence of Italian agri-food products on an international stage.

 

 

Nightlife & Entertainment Pavilion

The area came to life through an innovative open bar concept developed in collaboration with Fabbri and Tedcaster. The pavilion also hosted the Buyers & Exhibitors Networking Event on the second day of the exhibition onwards, providing an important opportunity for international buyers, industry associations, and exhibitors to connect and nuild relationships in a dynamic environment dedicated to professional networking.

 

 

Main Stage | Fringe Events

The Main Stage hosted 13 events including demos, showcookings, and masterclasses led by international Brand Ambassadors from the worlds of pizza, chocolate, gelato, pastry, coffee, and pasta. Special guests included Vincenzo Capuano, who took part in a session on June 17 dedicated to the art of contemporary pizza.

 

 

Specialty Coffee Association Area

The area served as a key hub for the coffee sector, hosting cupping sessions, guided tastings, and networking opportunities for industry professionals. A space designed to encourage dialogue, knowledge sharing, and the strengthening of the international specialty coffee community.

 

 

Pizza Corner

Developed within the AVPN area, the Pizza Corner featured partner companies including Sori, Regà, Manna Forni, Gi.Metal, and Molino Dalla Giovanna.

 

 

Panettone Masterclass

Following the success of last year’s Asian selection, Panettone returned to SIGEP Asia in the form of the masterclass “The Secrets of Panettone Revealed by the Greatest Masters: The Italians”, led by Maestro Giuseppe Piffaretti in collaboration with Chef Saverio Busato from the Culinary Institute of America. The masterclass celebrated the tradition, technique, and artisanal excellence of authentic Italian panettone, with the support of sponsors including Agrimontana, Eurovanille, Molino Dalla Giovanna, and Elle & Vire.

 

 

IFBA Roundtable

Now in its third edition, the IFBA Roundtable returned with new strategic topics and important international networking opportunities.

 

 

RAS Symposium

Organized by the Restaurant Association of Singapore, co-organizer of the event, the symposium will brought together leading figures from the F&B and hospitality industries across the region.

 

 

UIBC Congress 2026

Held alongside SIGEP Asia & Restaurant Asia 2026, the UIBC Congress 2026 brought together master bakers, pastry chefs, and bakery & confectionery professionals from around the world. Their presence was a highlight of the opening day, with participation in the Opening Ceremony and an exclusive lunch hosted in the VIP Lounge.

 

 

Worldchefs Lounge

A dedicated space for networking, institutional meetings, and discussions among the international chefs’ community. The lounge also hosted the official cocktail receptions for the Awards Ceremonies of the Gelato World Cup – Asia Selection and Bread in the City – Asia Selection, providing a prestigious setting to celebrate excellence in the international gastronomic industry.

 

 

Brand Ambassadors Program

Launched in 2026, the Brand Ambassadors Program brought together seven internationally recognized figures, each representing one of the key sectors of the Foodservice industry and the pillars of SIGEP:

  • Antonio Brancato, Pizza Brand Ambassador and founder of Anto Pizza e Aperitivi, recognized as the number one pizzeria in Singapore and ranked 15th in Asia by 50 Top Pizza;

  • Janice Wong, Chocolate & Pastry Brand Ambassador and founder of Janice Wong Pure Imagination;

  • Natasha Chiam, Gelato Brand Ambassador and CEO of Ice Cream Cookie & Co;

  • Matteo Pertoldi, Bakery Brand Ambassador and owner of Atipico;

  • Emi Fukahori, Coffee Brand Ambassador and winner of the World Brewers Cup 2018;

  • Justin Foo, Technology Brand Ambassador and founder of HosPro Hospitality Intelligence;

  • Lee Yum Hwa, Pasta Brand Ambassador and founder of Benfatto.

 

Through their involvement, the program helped connect international opinion leaders, chefs, entrepreneurs, and Foodservice professionals, creating new opportunities for collaboration, visibility, and sponsorship for companies looking to strengthen their presence in the Asian market.

 

In addition to reinforcing the international community of SIGEP Asia & Restaurant Asia, the Brand Ambassadors served as a strategic driver for the development of the Activations: exclusive networking and brand experience events designed to enhance partnerships and foster high-level connections within the hospitality and Food & Beverage industries.

 

The first Activation took place at Anto Pizza e Aperitivi and was dedicated to BE WTR, a Singapore-based company specializing in premium and sustainable filtered water solutions for luxury hospitality.

 

 

IEG XP – Visitor Experience

Through the IEG XP – Visitor Experience program, visitors had access to a range of exclusive benefits designed to enhance their experience during the exhibition. The program included travel deals, accommodation offers, dining experiences, and selected lifestyle perks, providing opportunities to experience Singapore through premium services, exclusive partnerships, and curated experiences.

 

 

Speed Dates & Dedicated Tours

Alongside the Hosted Buyers Programme, networking activities dedicated to exhibitors continued through targeted formats such as Speed Dates and Dedicated Tours. Building on the success of the previous editions, dedicated buyer tours were organized in collaboration with ACAPS, IFBA, and ARAA, with the aim of fostering strategic meetings and highly targeted business opportunities.

New Speed Date Sessions were also introduced in collaboration with ACA (Airline Catering Association), the Indonesian Hotel Purchasing Association, and Brand Cellar, a local media agency that brought together highly profiled buyers and key professionals from the hospitality and Food & Beverage sectors.
